Wrapt is built with privacy at its core. All of your data — photos, music, calendar events, contacts, reminders, and location information — is processed entirely on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server, and nothing is ever shared with third parties.
Wrapt requests access to the following data to generate your wraps:
Each permission is requested individually and is optional. You can revoke any permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security. Wrapt works with whatever you allow — missing permissions simply mean fewer stats in your wrap.
Wrapt can send you a monthly reminder when a new wrap is ready to view. Notification permission is optional and requested during onboarding. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings > Notifications > Wrapt. All notifications are scheduled locally on your device — no push notification servers are involved.
All generated wraps are stored locally on your device in JSON files. Wrap files may include aggregated statistics, photo asset identifiers (which cannot be used to access your photos outside the app), and GPS coordinates derived from photo metadata. All of this data remains on your device only. No data is transmitted over the network at any point. Wrapt contains no analytics services, crash reporters, advertising frameworks, or third-party SDKs of any kind. You can delete any wrap at any time by long-pressing it on the home screen.
Wrapt does not track you across apps or websites. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or behavioral data. We do not share any information with data brokers or marketing platforms.
Wrapt offers an optional one-time lifetime unlock purchased through Apple’s App Store. All transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect, see, or store any payment or billing information.
