What is Wrapt? Wrapt generates monthly and yearly summaries of your life using data already on your device — music listening history, photos, calendar events, contacts, reminders, and more. Everything is processed on-device. Nothing ever leaves your phone.
Does Wrapt require an account? No. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. Wrapt works entirely offline.
Which iPhone models and iOS versions are supported? Wrapt requires iOS 17.0 or later on any iPhone.
When does my monthly wrap generate? Wrapt auto-generates a wrap for the previous month the first time you open the app after a new month begins. You can also pull to refresh on the home screen at any time.
Can I see this month before it ends? Yes. Tap “Preview Your Wrapt” on the home screen to see a live preview of the current month’s data. Previews are not saved.
How do I generate a wrap for a past month or year? Tap “Create a Past Wrapt” at the bottom of the home screen, choose a month or year, and tap Generate. You get 3 free retroactive wraps. Unlock Unlimited Past Wrapts for unlimited access going back 5 years.
Why are some sections missing from my wrap? Each section requires its corresponding permission. If a section is missing, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Wrapt and make sure the relevant permission is granted.
Why does Wrapt need access to my Music library? To show your top tracks, top artists, and total plays for the month or year.
Why does Wrapt need access to my Contacts? Only to count how many contacts you have — Wrapt never reads names, numbers, or any contact details.
Why does Wrapt need access to my Photos? To count your photos, build the memories carousel, detect photos with people, and identify places you visited from photo GPS metadata.
Why does Wrapt need access to my Calendar? To count events, find your busiest day, and calculate your average events per day.
